Since graduating with a Bachelor in Visual Communication Design from the University of Technology, Sydney in 2015 I have gained experience working in an email marketing agency, a small-medium Australian Start-up and as a self-employed freelancer. I’ve spent the last 5 years wearing an abundance of metaphorical hats, developing my skills in design, leadership, product/project management, social media marketing and front end web development.
In 2017 I decided to travel abroad. I have been fortunate enough to work remotely for the last 2 years. During this time I have embraced the challenge of working in a self-driven environment and collaborating with people across borders and seas. A large part of this has involved maintaining a high level of communication with team members and clients across 7 different countries.
As a designer, I thrive on creating visually delightful products/services that function and serve the user well. My approach to problem solving is creative, yet analytical. I’m often asking stakeholders: ‘But why?’ This helps me break down seemingly complex problems and identify the root problem to be solved.
When I’m not working you’ll find me out exploring world, probably petting someone’s dog a little too enthusiastically. I also enjoy skiing, writing, sketching and swimming. I’m always open to hearing about new projects and opportunities, so feel free to shoot me an email.

Kate is a hardworking graphic designer who has a commendable work ethic, a great attitude to new projects and fantastic interpersonal skills. She can be relied upon to produce quality work, even when given tight deadlines. She is resourceful and always ready to suggest an alternative when required. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Kate and would not hesitate to recommend her to any future employers.
Just wanted to say that the new UI you've put together looks really great. I was immediately impressed when I saw this iteration. The colour scheme/balance in particular is a huge step up and you've solved some major UI issues with core interface. Really looking forward to seeing the final version!
